“ Great bar in Nashville with live music and great food. Big Jimmy’s caught my eye because it was just off Broadway and not fully crowded yet. Glad I stopped in. They had some good live acoustic music and the burger and onion rings I had were honestly the best I’ve had in a while. Mixed drinks were a little pricey but they did have specials and I was glad to support the bar and staff. The bartender was super nice and had a generous pour for me. Check this place out. ”

Just off the main drag of Broadway, so just a fraction less crazy, but perfect vibe, simple menu, but great burgers and good sizing options (especially for us Brits, we struggle with American portion sizes!). Space to dance if the mood takes you but generally just sit back and enjoy the experience. ”
“ Great service and food! We had a great time and will be back! The atmosphere was calm and easygoing; we definitely recommend this for families with kids. The staff were very nice and helpful! It is relatively new so it's not busy and it's not loud at all. The chicken was perfectly fried. The Nashville Hot chicken was spicy as expected. The mac n cheese had a slight kick to it and was very cheesy. Overall a great place and we highly recommend it is the first place you eat when you are in this area! ”
“ This is a great spot! The music isn’t so loud you can’t thin, but plenty loud enough to enjoy. Food/Drinks were great and Zoie at the bar is amazing, she stayed on top of everything even with a full house all while being super nice and helpful to us. ”
“ PHOTOS DO NOT MATCH FOOD. Something about there being two locations and one had fancy looking food and the one that this address goes to is much more bar food. It's not bad but if you expect to show up and get bacon wrapped jalapeno you will end up with breaded poppers. Not bad just two different set of food. Update: I originally gave them 3 starts because I was mad about not getting some great looking jalapenos. I was being a bit dramatic. Their food is just fine for bar food just don't expect what's in the google photos! ”

“ Now Open. Brand new Big Jimmy’s is mostly burgers and flat breads. A lot of the pictures are the previous tenant. Great inviting atmosphere with a straight forward menu with burgers and flat bread pizzas. I had the spicy chicken and onion rings. Great food. Our bartender Cody was awesome too. ”
“ Big Jimmy’s is a fantastic find! It takes a little more work than some places since they are off-Broadway on 2nd Ave and construction barriers are still up, but it is totally worth it. Service is cheerful, timely, and attentive, and while the menu isn’t huge, it is delicious. We sat at the “community table” and enjoyed meeting some folks in from Chattanooga to visit. Big Jimmy’s holds up the Nashville tradition of friendly bars with good food and great music! ”
